An engineering firm’s brand wasn’t working.
E-Merge Systems, Inc. is a Richmond-based engineering firm with offices located throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Their engineers are respected individually for their expertise in automation and systems integration, and prized for their client-driven focus. Seventy percent of their sales was repeat business.
Yet, our research showed that E-Merge had a perception problem which severely limited their growth: clients did not believe the firm had the capacity or capability to handle big projects.
We helped them build one that did.
The culprit, we discovered, was their brand. Their marketing materials made them look small and behind the times. In no way did their brand reflect the excellent engineering firm they had become.
So we created one that did—one built on the strength of their engineers and the passion they brought to their projects. The design and the messaging spoke to the breadth and depth of their expertise. The sigma (Σ) in the E-Merge logo was used to spell key words like ΣNGINEER and PASSIONATΣ, communicating their zest for efficiency and results. We even trained the engineers to be more social and make them better ambassadors for the company.
E-Merge now has the tools it needs to succeed: a brand that truly reflects the company. An elevator pitch that explains what they do and how they do it. Brand standards each engineer can live by. And a website that inspires confidence in those issuing RFP’s.
